Job summary

PNC is seeking a Software Engineer Lead for the Asset Management Group Tech organization. The role supports offices in Dallas, Strongsville, Pittsburgh, or Birmingham, with focus on leading software development teams and delivering scalable solutions.

Responsibilities include design leadership, API development, and mentoring in an Agile environment. Requires strong C#, ASP.NET MVC, Angular, and containerization experience, plus SQL Server proficiency.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a Software Development Lead or similar leadership role.
Hands-on experience with C# and ASP.NET MVC.
Front-end development using Angular.
Experience designing, developing, and supporting APIs.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as OpenShift and/or Kubernetes.
Experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core / .NET 5+.
Proficiency with SQL Server and Entity Framework.

Responsibilities

Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.
Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required.
Facilitates complex problem resolution.
Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues. Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software.
Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.
