Job summary
PNC is seeking a Software Engineer Lead in the Asset Management Group with a strong track record in leadership, mentoring, and code reviews. The role requires expert Java/Spring and Angular skills, API design, Oracle experience, and familiarity with Agile/Scrum. OpenShift or Kubernetes knowledge is highly valued, with a preference for Python.
The position is based in multiple U.S. locations including Pittsburgh, PA and other major cities, with in-office expectations and a comprehensive benefits
Qualifications
- Requires experience in a Software Development Lead or similar leadership role.
- Strong experience with Java and Spring Framework; front-end with Angular.
- Experience designing, developing, and supporting APIs; Oracle database; Agile/Scrum.
Responsibilities
- Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.
- Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs; prepares docs.
- Facilitates complex problem resolution.
- Provides technical guidance and reviews coding, testing, and docs.
- Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives.
