Job summary

Current Surgical seeks a senior software leader to design, develop, and architect software for a clinical prototype medical device, coordinating communication between hardware and high-performance data processing.

You will build the software organization from the ground up and drive the transition from prototyping to regulated medical development, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance across teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience building complex systems software with Python and C++/Rust.
• Background in safety-critical systems, medical imaging, or robotics.
• Degree in a related engineering or science field.

Responsibilities
