Job summary

The Blackstone Group L.P. is seeking an experienced Software Engineer for its Legal and Compliance Technology group. The role focuses on designing scalable L&C tech, integrating SaaS platforms, and leading development teams to deliver secure, cloud-native solutions.

Responsibilities include architecture, custom app development with Python and C#, and global collaboration to align with data privacy and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of software development and architecture experience.
• Proven experience in L&C systems and designing solutions for L&C workflows.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS and SaaS platform integration.
• Proficiency in Python and C#.
• Strong cloud architecture, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and related container tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure architecture for L&C systems on AWS and SaaS platforms.
• Architect and oversee custom applications using Python, C#, Terraform; enforce coding standards.
• Lead SaaS platform integrations (Contract Pod AI, Star Compliance, ServiceNow LSD, Snowflake).
• Define long‑term L&C technology vision and multi‑year roadmaps.
• Build and mentor a high‑performing development team; promote collaboration.
• Collaborate with global teams to meet regional L&C requirements and security standards.
