Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer - Identity Access Management in the CTO Team in Plano, TX. You will design, develop, and deliver secure, scalable software components, and mentor engineers while promoting AI-assisted development practices across distributed teams.

You will drive architecture, code quality, and testing strategies with a focus on secure coding, observability, and performance, collaborating with product teams to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts.
• Demonstrated leadership in AI-assisted development tools and setting team standards.
• Strong understanding of secure coding and resiliency expectations.

Responsibilities

• Leverage AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate design, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and automation.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure code quality.
• Drive adoption of enterprise AI practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes.
• Design, develop, and improve scalable, resilient systems in collaboration with product teams.
• Write clean, well-documented, unit-tested code with non-functional requirements like telemetry and security.
• Mentor team members in best practices and coach across distributed Agile teams.
