Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in the Corporate Sector, Identity & Access Management, to drive secure, scalable software solutions in a fast-paced agile environment.

You will be a core technical contributor responsible for building and delivering trusted technology products across multiple business functions. You will lead design and architecture discussions, establish validation standards, and guide AI-assisted development practices to improve code quality, delivery

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading AI-assisted software development tools and setting team expectations for AI outputs.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, data sensitivity and secure handling.
• Strong CS fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, RESTful APIs, and Microservices.
• Experience with CI/CD, Jenkins, and source control (Git/Bitbucket).
• Experience with relational databases, MS SQL Server.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting with ability to tackle non-routine problems.
• Drives adoption of enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed while promoting reusable patterns.
• Applies SDLC toolchain knowledge to improve automation and value realization.
• Creates secure, high-quality production code and maintains production algorithms.
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensures design constraints are met.
• Identifies hidden data patterns to drive improvements in code hygiene and system architecture.
• Contributes to engineering communities of practice and explores new technologies.
