Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in Plano, TX, within the CTO - Identity & Access Management group.

You will join an agile team to build and deliver trusted, scalable technology while shaping an agentic, human-gated testing ecosystem that accelerates delivery with strong controls. You will lead end-to-end testing across IAM journeys, champion AI-assisted tooling for code review and test acceleration, and partner with Product/Engineering/Operations to ensure release-grade

Qualifications

5+ years applied experience in software engineering with testing automation.
Experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Advanced in programming in Java, SQL, REST APIs, and QA tooling.
Experience with AI-assisted development and automated testing frameworks.
Familiarity with enterprise testing ecosystems and standardization across frameworks.
Build and operate an agentic testing ecosystem to design, implement, and run a human-gated testing framework.

Responsibilities

Develop innovative software solutions and troubleshoot complex problems beyond routine approaches.
Champion AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and testing rigor.
Apply SDLC toolchain knowledge to improve automation value.
Set journey quality strategy and acceptance criteria for IAM journeys.
Design living journey maps and tune regression and performance tests.
Implement contract tests, stubs/simulators for partner integration validation.
Reduce test flakiness and improve test determinism.
Lead defect prevention loop from reproduction to fix validation and data strategy updates.
Provide executive-ready journey health reports with evidence-based conclusions.
Lead communities of practice and foster inclusive team culture.
