Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced in one or more programming language(s).
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools with validation of outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows and secure handling of data.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
• Develops secure production code, reviews and debugs code written by others.
• Drives adoption of enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
• Applies SDLC tooling for automation and continuous improvement.
• Identifies opportunities to automate remediation and improve operational stability.
• Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams on architectural designs.
• Leads communities of practice to promote new technologies in software engineering and AI/ML.
