Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5 years of software experience.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• Experience in defense software development, architecture, implementation, testing, and sustainment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to junior and journeyman engineers.
• Lead full life cycle software engineering tasks from design to sustainment.
• Apply knowledge of avionics and OFP to support mission-critical software.
• Develop and maintain software requirements, architecture documents, and test plans.
• Collaborate with program management, engineering, test, and international stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with DoD/USAF policies and acquisition standards.
• Mentor less experienced staff and promote best practices.
