Job summary

Markit North America, Inc. seeks a Lead, Software Engineering to spearhead development, testing and delivery of complex projects at the Raleigh, NC office.

You will design data pipelines, create architectural blueprints and mentor a team of engineers to meet deadlines and quality standards. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in CS or related IT field with five years of experience, proficiency with Snowflake, SQL Server, Python, AWS and Terraform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related IT field with five years of relevant experience.
• Experience processing financial data for corporate actions, including splits and mergers.
• Experience building scalable data pipelines and implementing data quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, testing and delivery of projects to meet business requirements.
• Prepare database architectural blueprints and present to leadership.
• Create and maintain proprietary algorithms for data processing.
• Design, build, test, and execute software solutions addressing business issues.
• Oversee peer reviews and risk mitigation planning.
