Markit North America, Inc. in Raleigh, NC seeks an Engineer II, Software Development to design, develop, and optimize database and back-end components supporting an internal technology platform.
You will build SQL procedures, ETL workflows, deploy cloud data pipelines, and ensure data accuracy and performance in a high-volume environment. The role requires a Bachelor's in CS and 2 years' experience with SQL Server, ETL, AWS data services, Snowflake, and Agile delivery.
Formación
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related IT field.
- Two years of experience in software development with SQL/T-SQL and MS SQL Server for data workloads.
- Experience with ETL/data pipelines, job automation, and root-cause analysis.
- Experience with AWS data services and Snowflake migrations.
Responsabilidades
- Design, develop, and enhance database/back-end components for internal platforms.
- Build/update ETL workflows and test changes for data accuracy and performance.
- Migrate objects to cloud data services and deploy serverless/containers.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum practices and production deployments.
