Job summary

RSM US LLP seeks a Lead Software Engineer to design and deliver secure, cloud-native platforms for complex workflows and AI-enabled capabilities. You will provide technical leadership across architecture, code quality, testing, deployment, and operations in a distributed environment.

You will guide teams building APIs, microservices, data pipelines, and retrieval-augmented AI patterns, ensuring governance, traceability, and adherence to enterprise standards while collaborating with product,

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or architectural capacity.
• Experience managing teams in complex or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of secure, scalable, cloud-native software platforms.
• Provide technical leadership across architecture, design, code quality, testing, deployment, and operational readiness.
• Design and guide distributed systems, APIs, microservices, event-driven workflows, data pipelines, and integration patterns.
• Drive architecture decisions to separate shared platform services from application logic.
• Collaborate with product owners, data teams, AI/ML engineers, security and business stakeholders.
• Build platform governance: provenance, audit trails, version history and replayable execution.
