Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to design and deliver cloud-native platforms that power complex workflows, data-heavy apps, and AI-enabled capabilities. You will guide teams across distributed systems, APIs, data pipelines and retrieval-augmented AI patterns while ensuring governance, traceability, and enterprise standards.

You will mentor engineers, shape architecture, and drive CI/CD, observability, and incident response.

Qualifications

• Extensive software engineering experience in cloud-native apps.
• Leadership or architectural experience in complex/regulated environments.
• Deep coding expertise across modern languages (Java, C#, Python, TS, Rust).
• Experience with AWS or GCP and DevOps practices.
• Proven ability to design distributed, scalable systems with observability.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of secure, scalable cloud-native platforms.
• Guide architecture, coding quality, testing strategy and deployment practices.
• Design distributed systems, APIs, microservices, event-driven workflows, data pipelines.
• Drive decisions on platform services vs. app logic for consistency.
