Job summary

RSM US LLP seeks a Lead Software Engineer to drive design and delivery of secure, cloud-native platforms that support complex workflows and AI-enabled capabilities. You will guide teams on distributed systems, APIs, data pipelines, and rule-driven platforms while ensuring governance and observability across the enterprise.

You will partner with product owners, data teams, AI engineers, and security to translate ambiguous requirements into scalable designs and delivery plans.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of software engineering experience with leadership exposure.
• Experience delivering solutions in complex or regulated environments.
• Strong programming skills in modern languages and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and delivery of secure, scalable cloud-native platforms.
• Provide technical leadership across architecture, design, testing, and deployment.
• Design distributed systems, APIs, microservices, and data pipelines for reliability.
• Drive architecture decisions to separate platform services from app logic.
• Collaborate with product owners and data/AI teams to translate requirements.
• Ensure provenance, auditability, and version history from data to output.
• Develop configuration-driven platforms with governed rules and policies.
• Guide teams in deterministic execution, DAG orchestration, and idempotency.
• Support AI-enabled solution design, including RAG and GraphRAG workflows.
• Review architecture artifacts, PRs, data models, and controls for quality.
