Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to build the agentic orchestration runtime powering the AI content generation platform. You will own the generator→critic workflow and the broader agentic infrastructure enabling content migration and automation.

You'll lead a portfolio of distributed microservices, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions that scale for millions of customers across regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• At least 4 years of experience in software engineering.
• At least 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Responsibilities

• Build and operate the agentic workflow harness for the AI content generation pipeline.
• Integrate the agentic pipeline with the enterprise LLM model gateway and manage API calls.
• Lead a portfolio of distributed microservices projects and mentor developers.
• Collaborate with product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions for millions of customers.
