Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer within the Consumer & Community Banking- Home Lending Servicing group in Plano, TX. You will act as a core technical contributor and guide AI-enabled engineering across multiple domains, delivering scalable, secure software and ML solutions.

You will drive code quality, automation, and incident analysis while collaborating with cross-functional teams to align with business objectives and risk controls.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
• 5+ years applied software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience in system design, development, testing, and operations.
• Advanced in one or more programming languages.
• Experience leading use of AI-assisted development tools with secure outputs.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions and tackles non-routine problems.
• Develops secure high-quality production code and reviews peers' code.
• Drives AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality and delivery speed.
• Applies SDLC tools to improve automation and efficiency.
• Identifies and automates recurring issues to boost stability.
• Leads architecture discussions with vendors and internal teams.
• Designs and delivers scalable ML systems with data pipelines and monitoring.
• Champions communities of practice for Software Eng and AI/ML.
