Qualifications

• 5+ years formal software engineering concepts and hands-on experience.
• 10+ years of hands-on software development in large-scale distributed systems (Java/J2EE, Spring Boot).
• 3+ years in Linux environments.
• Experience leading AI-assisted development tools with validation for correctness, performance, and security.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Kubernetes orchestration experience for production services.
• Experience with Kafka/MQ and log analytics tools.
• AI/ML platform exposure (MLOps, model hosting, AWS/hybrid cloud).

Responsibilities

• Drives adoption of enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices and enforces secure coding and testing standards.
• Applies SDLC toolchain knowledge to improve automation value and delivery quality.
• Architects and implements scalable, low-latency services with reliable governance and security.
• Designs services that integrate with enterprise systems ensuring performance and security requirements.
• Leads and mentors a development team in a high-pressure delivery environment.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to design solutions and resolve issues across business groups.
• Builds ML pipelines for fraud detection and risk assessment, supporting modeling teams.
• Hosts production AI models and establishes validation readiness and traceability.
• Develops reusable ML platform components and monitoring for performance and reliability.
• Defines guardrails for agentic AI in production including latency and cost.
