Job summary

JPMorganChase in Plano, TX, is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join Corporate Sector Technology. You will be a core technical contributor shaping architecture and delivering trusted, scalable products within an agile team.

You will guide developers, drive AI-assisted engineering practices, and partner with business units to meet security and reliability standards while advancing ML-driven fraud detection capabilities and robust platform components.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
• 10+ years of hands-on software development experience in large-scale distributed systems, primarily Java/J2EE and modern Java/Spring Boot microservices
• 3+ years of experience developing in Linux environments
• Demonstrated experience leading effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools with the ability to validate AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows and secure handling of inputs/outputs

Responsibilities

• Drives team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes
• Architect and implement resilient, scalable, fault-tolerant services and drive target-state architecture
• Design and deploy services that integrate with enterprise systems and meet security, governance, and auditability requirements
• Lead and mentor the development team in a high-pressured delivery environment and manage multiple deliverables across business groups
• Build and mature capabilities that execute ML pipelines for fraud detection and risk assessment and productionize models
