Job summary

Bowhead seeks a Site Supervisor for a potential Naval Station Kings Bay contract to oversee operations, logistics and maintenance in support of Commander Navy Region Southeast (CNRSE). The role requires leading waterfront operations teams, ensuring safety, quality and budget adherence while coordinating with military and civilian staff.

Required BA/BS in Management, Marine Transportation or Engineering with five years of waterfront operations experience; knowledge of USCG licensing and ABYC/ABS

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Management, Marine Transportation or Engineering with 5 years waterfront operations management experience.
• Ability to lead and supervise multi-disciplinary teams including boat technicians and logistics staff.
• Knowledge of US Coast Guard licensing, ABYC and ABS standards.
• Experience planning ship movements and maintenance programs.
• Strong communication with military and civilian personnel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contractual deliverables, ensure timely, quality, and budget compliance.
• Direct day-to-day duties of BOMS personnel including boat technicians and a logistics specialist.
• Develop plans, budgets, allocate resources, and assign responsibilities.
• Set policies and guidance; establish goals for subordinates.
• Lead continuous process improvement and resolve employee issues.
• Conduct QA checks on maintenance and repair processes; provide written reports.
• Other duties as assigned.
