Job summary

Bowhead is seeking a Site Supervisor for Naval Station Mayport, FL to provide oversight and supervision of personnel delivering operations, logistics and maintenance support to Commander Navy Region Southeast (CNRSE).

The role requires directing waterfront operations, managing contractual deliverables, budgets and schedules, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance with USCG licensing, ABYC/ABS standards.

Qualifications

• 10 years of waterfront operations management and project leadership experience.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to guide teams across multiple functions.
• Knowledge of harbor operations, small boat/work boat operations, and oil spill response.
• Understanding of training evolutions for harbor operations and related safety plans.
• Familiarity with U.S. Coast Guard licensing requirements and scheduling manpower/equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage all contractual requirements and deliverables, ensuring timely completion, quality, and budget compliance.
• Supervise BOMS personnel including Coxswains, Deckhands, Boat Technicians, and a Logistics Specialist.
• Plan objectives, budgets, resources, and assign responsibilities to meet contractual obligations.
• Establish policies and process guidance; set goals for subordinates.
• Drive continuous process improvement across business processes and procedures.
• Handle personnel complaints and disciplinary actions; approve leave requests.
• Conduct and document quality assurance checks of maintenance/repair work and report findings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
