Job summary

SD Builders and Construction LLC is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to lead daily field operations on ground-up developments in New York City. You will oversee subcontractors, manage schedules, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate materials to keep projects moving forward.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in site supervision, strong knowledge of construction methods and NYC codes, and proficiency with Autodesk Build/Procure or Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Site Superintendent on ground-up construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety protocols, and NYC building codes.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Proven leadership and subcontractor coordination experience.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Build, Procure, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).

SD Builders and Construction LLC is looking to add an experienced Site Superintendent to our growing team. If you’re a hands‑on leader who thrives in the field and takes pride in delivering high-quality projects, we want to hear from you.

With over 10 years of experience and 10,000+ units completed, SD Builders is a fast growing general contractor, specializing in mid‑sized ground‑up developments across New York City—including market‑rate housing, affordable housing, and shelter projects (50–500+ units). Our work is built on strong partnerships, disciplined execution, and a commitment to doing things the right way.

You’ll take the lead on daily field operations—overseeing subcontractors, coordinating schedules, ensuring safety compliance, managing materials, and driving progress on‑site. You’ll be the key link between the field and project management team, solving problems in real time and keeping projects moving forward.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years as a Site Superintendent on ground‑up construction projects
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety protocols, and NYC building codes

Compensation:

In compliance with NYC and NYS pay transparency laws, the salary range for this position is $180,000 – $235,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, and performance‑based incentives.
