Job summary

Tower Semiconductor Ltd. is seeking an experienced engineer to develop, improve, and sustain manufacturing process flows and to lead the ramp of new process modules for foundry customers.

You will coordinate technology transfers and contribute to development of new technologies across Process, Equipment, Operations and R&D teams. You will oversee and mentor the SiPho Integration Engineering team, analyzing E-test and yield data to drive continuous improvements and to reduce defects while

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in EE, CE, Physics or Materials Science required.
• Experience with 180nm and/or Silicon Photonics strongly preferred.
• Strong ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
• Hands-on experience in Process Integration, Device Physics, Thin Films, Etch, CMP, Photolithography, Diffusion, Implant or E-Test.

Responsibilities

• Develop, improve and sustain manufacturing process flows and lead development of new process modules.
• Coordinate introduction, qualification and ramp-to-volume of new process flows for foundry customers.
• Lead or collaborate on technology transfers and development of new technologies.
• Oversee SiPho Integration Engineering, analyze E-test and yield data to drive improvements.
• Mentor team in SiPho Integration, device analysis and presentation skills.
