Job summary

GlobalFoundries Fab 8 seeks an experienced professional to support the 300mm Silicon Photonic process integration team. The role covers development, customer engagement and production, delivering advanced Silicon Photonic tech for mass production.

The ideal candidate has a PhD with 10+ years in Silicon Photonics, strong PM skills, and a track record of delivering complex tech with quality, cost, and schedule in mind.

Qualifications

• PhD required with 10+ years in Silicon Photonics.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• Experience leading engineering teams and delivering mass-produced silicon photonics.
• Strong PM skills and cost/schedule trade-off management.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Silicon Photonic process development.
• Collaborating with process module & packaging team to drive process solutions.
• Overseeing project scope with TD & BU, ensuring technical needs are met.
• Driving technology cost reduction, process convergence and yield improvements.
