Job summary

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in a relevant field, or a BS with 5+ years of related experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Integration or Device.
• Strong analytical capabilities and interpersonal skills are required.
• Expert-level understanding of silicon fabrication processes.
• Experience with optical simulation software and mask layout tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement process technologies within a VLSI manufacturing and foundry environment.
• Design, characterize, and optimize silicon photonic devices.
• Coordinate experiments to advance technology development and enhance yield.
• Collaborate with process engineering, test teams, and customers to define goals and solutions.
• Design test structures and define testing protocols for device characterization.
• Provide support in resolving customer issues and inquiries.
• Support transfer of process variants from development to production.
• Assist with process transfers to worldwide fabrication facilities.
