Job summary

Tower Semiconductor Ltd. in California seeks a seasoned engineer to drive improvement and sustaining of manufacturing processes and to develop new process modules across cross-functional teams.

You will analyze E-test and product yield data, collaborate with Process, Equipment, Operations and R&D groups, and provide feedback to continuously optimize the manufacturing process while communicating complex concepts to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

  • MS or PhD in Electrical or Chemical Engineering, Physics or Materials Science (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in Process Integration, BiCMOS and/or Photonics Device Physics, Thin Films, Etch, CMP, Photolithography, or Diffusion.
  • Proven experience with SPC, Design of Experiments (DOE), and yield analysis tools.

Responsibilities

  • Improve and sustain all manufacturing processes; develop new process modules.
  • Lead or coordinate large cross-functional projects with Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Operations and R&D.
  • Perform circuit-level failure analysis, analyze E-test and product yield data to drive improvements.

Job Description

Responsible for improvement and sustaining of all manufacturing processes; development of new process modules; leading or coordinating large projects. Interact and collaborate with Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Operations and R&D groups on inter-departmental and cross-functional projects. Perform circuit level failure analysis, analyze E-test and product yield data, and provide feedback to engineers and managers to continuously improve the manufacturing process.

Job Requirements

Must Have:

  • MS or PhD in Electrical or Chemical Engineering, Physics or Materials Science
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
  • Strong ability to effectively communicate and present complex technical concepts and analytical findings to diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience in at least one of the following domains: Process Integration, BiCMOS and/or Photonics Device Physics, Thin Films, Etch, CMP, Photolithography, or Diffusion
  • Proven experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE), and yield analysis tools
