You will work with process engineering, test teams, and customers to define goals, design test structures, and transfer processes to production, contributing to high-impact projects across global fabrication

Qualifications

• Must have: advanced degree or equivalent with extensive research in silicon photonics
• Experience in device and process development for silicon photonics
• Strong analytical and collaboration skills are required for success in cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement silicon photonics process technologies in a VLSI foundry environment
• Design, characterize, and optimize silicon photonic devices
• Coordinate experiments to advance technology and improve yield
• Collaborate with process engineering, test teams, and customers to define goals and solutions
• Design test structures and define testing protocols for device characterization
• Support issue resolution and transfer of processes from development to production
• Assist with process transfers to worldwide fabrication facilities as needed
