Job summary

Loenbro is seeking a Chief SIP Estimator to lead the estimating department for industrial construction projects in Texas. You will set standards, drive complex, high-value bids, and partner with stakeholders to align scope, pricing, risk, and execution strategy for successful project delivery.

The role requires senior-level experience in quantity takeoffs, cost estimation, risk analysis, and team leadership, with a focus on scaffolding, insulation, and painting scopes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of estimating in industrial construction with heavy emphasis on scaffolding, insulation, and painting.
• 5+ years leading estimators and managing pursuit workflows and team performance.
• Proficiency in quantity takeoff, cost estimating, pricing, risk analysis, QA/QC, and process management.
• Ability to lead multi-discipline estimates and proposals with strong judgment and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to the estimating team and align resources with regional objectives.
• Build and mentor a high-performing estimating group with clear expectations and development plans.
• Lead the estimating process, deadlines, deliverables, and documentation control across projects.
• Direct development of estimates across varying stages, scopes, and delivery methods.
• Review and approve final estimates and proposals for accuracy, pricing integrity, and defensible assumptions.
• Lead risk assessment, contingency development, and value engineering to improve cost effectiveness.
• Oversee subcontractor and vendor strategy, bid solicitation, and market pricing awareness.
• Collaborate with Operations to develop labor, procurement, and turnover requirements for delivery.
