Job summary

Loenbro is seeking a SIP Estimator to develop accurate cost models for scaffolding, insulation, and coatings on complex industrial projects. You will lead quantity takeoffs, labor and equipment analyses, and pricing using HCSS HeavyBid.

This role requires reading coatings specs, insulation details, and drawings, with oversight of bid processes and subcontractor pricing; travel up to 10%; remote-friendly in our pre-construction unit.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5+ years in industrial construction estimating with leadership experience.
• Estimating experience with Accubid and HCSS HeavyBid or similar software.
• Ability to read and interpret coating specs, insulation details, scaffold drawings, and other technical schematics.
• Excellent communication and computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Estimate projects up to $25M, considering complexity and self-performance scope.
• Validate quantity take-offs and input into estimating software.
• Apply advanced cost analysis and contingency planning for risk mitigation.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and lead bid-review sessions.
• Review RFIs and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors.
