Pace University in Pleasantville, NY is seeking a Simulation Educator to coordinate curricular integration of simulation activities in undergraduate pre-licensure programs. The role leads simulation-based experiences, trains adjunct faculty and standardized patients, and ensures alignment with INACSL standards to support student outcomes.

The incumbent will focus on assessment, program quality, and ongoing professional development, including pursuing certification and scholarly activities

Competenze

• Must hold an unrestricted NY RN license.
• Minimum two years of simulation and skills lab teaching experience.
• Experience with standardized patients or equivalent education/experience.
• Strong commitment to diversity, equity and inclusiveness.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage complex situations involving many people.

Mansioni

• Facilitates simulation-based experiences with pre-briefing and debriefing.
• Evaluates student performance in SBE with course faculty.
• Lead facilitator; trains adjunct faculty and oversees performance.
• Guides simulation tech in setup/teardown; ensures smooth SBEs.
• Collaborates on development of the Simulation Calendar.
• Consults with others on refining/developing SBE.
• Develops and maintains facilitation skills; pursue certification.
• Pursues continuing education and assessment of facilitation skills.
• Contributes to scholarly/research efforts related to SBE data collection.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
