Job summary

Partner Equipment Sales in Hazleton, PA seeks an experienced Lead Shop Mechanic for heavy trucks and equipment. You will lead a hands-on shop, repair and refurbish fleet assets, and collaborate with fabrication to build truck bodies and dump beds.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years in a garage environment, a valid driver's license, the ability to pass a drug screen, and strong welding, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in a garage environment
• Knowledge of trucks and equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems preferred
• Welding experience is a plus
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Self-motivated, dependable, and goal-oriented with a passion for quality and completion of projects
• Own tools required for automotive repair and diagnostics

Responsibilities

• Repair and refurbish fleet trucks and equipment for resale
• Perform mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic work with accuracy and efficiency
• Troubleshoot and repair major and minor mechanical and electrical issues
• Communicate with management regarding parts needs, repairs, and approvals
• Collaborate with fabrication team to develop and fabricate truck bodies, dump beds, and other projects
• Manage multiple tasks while maintaining organization, quality, and timelines
• Provide hands-on support in fabrication and general shop duties as needed
