Partner Equipment Sales is seeking a seasoned Lead Shop Mechanic – Heavy truck and Equipment to join our Hazleton, PA shop. Knowledge of welding/fabrication and strong leadership are strongly preferred.

You will repair and refurbish fleet trucks and equipment for resale, perform mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic work, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with fabrication to build truck bodies and related projects. This role demands organization, quality, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on garage experience.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Experience with trucks and equipment hydraulics.
• Own tools required for repair and diagnostics.
• Willingness to learn and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Repair and refurbish fleet trucks and equipment for resale.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic work.
• Troubleshoot and repair major and minor issues.
• Coordinate parts needs and approvals with management.
• Work with fabrication team on truck bodies and projects.
• Manage multiple tasks with quality and timelines.
• Provide hands-on support in fabrication and shop duties.
