Job summary

Partner Equipment Sales in Hazleton, PA seeks an experienced Lead Shop Mechanic – Heavy truck and Equipment. You will repair and refurbish fleet trucks and equipment for resale, perform mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic work, and collaborate with fabrication to develop truck bodies and other projects for clients.

A hands-on leader who can manage time and quality is essential. Qualifications include 5+ years in a garage, valid license, and the ability to pass a drug screen.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• 5+ years of hands-on garage experience.
• Knowledge of trucks and equipment: mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems preferred.
• Welding experience would be a plus.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and goal-oriented with a passion for quality and completion.
• Own tools required for automotive repair and diagnostics.
• Willingness to learn, take directions, and work with a team.

Responsibilities

• Repair and refurbish fleet trucks and equipment for resale.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic work accurately.
• Troubleshoot and repair major and minor issues.
• Communicate parts needs and approvals to management.
• Work with fabrication team on truck bodies and projects for outside customers.
• Manage multiple tasks while maintaining quality and timelines.
• Provide hands-on support in fabrication and shop duties.
