Partner Equipment Sales in Hazleton, PA is seeking an experienced Lead Shop Mechanic for heavy trucks and equipment. You will lead hands-on repairs, refurbishment, and fabrication projects, ensuring quality and on-time delivery within a family-oriented shop culture.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical skills, welding experience a plus, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while coordinating with management and fabrication teams. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in a garage environment.
• Knowledge of trucks and equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems preferred.
• Welding experience would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Repair and refurbish fleet trucks and equipment for resale.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic work with accuracy and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and repair both major and minor mechanical and electrical issues.
• Communicate effectively with management regarding parts needs, additional repairs, and approvals.
• Work with fabrication team to develop and fabricate truck bodies, dump beds and other projects for outside customers.
• Manage multiple tasks while maintaining organization, quality, and timelines.
• Provide hands-on support in fabrication and general shop duties as needed.
