Saia is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a team of technicians across shifts, ensuring safe and efficient maintenance operations. The role focuses on supervising repairs, coordinating workflows, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in equipment maintenance and at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity, with experience in diagnostic tools and brake/transmission repairs. Strong MS Office and maintenance system skills are preferred.

Formación

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to read, write, communicate and comprehend English; follow instructions and regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise shop technicians with coaching, oversight, and daily work direction.
• Assist training and support performance development and discipline.
• Monitor shop operations for timely, quality preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Coordinate with parts team to manage inventory and ensure material availability.
• Provide hands-on instruction in diagnostic software and repair techniques.
• Support expense monitoring and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with terminal personnel to prioritize equipment availability and readiness.
• Ensure proper documentation and workflow approval for repair orders, including vendor and warranty work.
