Job summary

FurstStaffing is actively seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to ensure equipment reliability and production efficiency on the shop floor. You will coordinate with operations and contractors to minimize downtime and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires hands-on maintenance knowledge, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple projects while implementing preventative maintenance programs and upholding safety and environmental standards across the DeKalb, IL facility.

Qualifications

• Electrical and mechanical maintenance knowledge
• Familiarity with maintenance management software (e.g., Limble)
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with operations and contractors to schedule maintenance and reduce machine downtime.
• Drive preventative maintenance processes to improve equipment reliability.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and identify capital-expenditure opportunities.
• Implement actions to improve workplace safety and reduce environmental impact.
• Demonstrate urgency to achieve company commitments and goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Proficient in technology and software: ERP systems, AutoCAD, Minitab, Microsoft Office (Excel)
• Familiarity with maintenance management software (e.g., Limble)
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

• Ability to speak/interpret Spanish a plus
