Job summary

Opifex-Synergy seeks a Service Technician to lead in-shop, repair, maintenance, and test tasks for diesel-powered heavy equipment. You will diagnose errors, determine solutions, and communicate results to the team.

This role involves field work and occasional travel to remote sites, strict adherence to safety protocols, and collaboration with a technical team to keep client equipment operating at peak condition.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of diesel engines and construction equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
• Must have own tools and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment to ensure proper working condition.
• Performs routine maintenance and safety reviews on heavy equipment.
• Inspects, repairs, and documents work, including tests and reports.
• Communicates with team and customers; supports training of other technicians.
• Travel to job sites for on-site installation, repair, and testing.
