Job summary

Cibo Vita in Totowa, NJ is seeking a Shipping Supervisor to lead daily shipping operations on-site, supervise a team of shipping associates, forklift operators, and clerks, and ensure on-time outbound shipments and inventory accuracy.

The role demands 3+ years in warehouse/shipping, 1–3 years in supervision, and experience with WMS/ERP and RF scanners; proficiency in MS Office is a plus. Training, safety, and continuous improvement are key priorities.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
3+ years of warehouse or shipping experience.
1–3 years of supervisory or team lead experience.
Experience with WMS/ERP systems and RF scanners.
Forklift experience preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).

Responsibilities

Operational Execution: Supervise all daily shipping activities including outbound orders, interfacility transfers, staging, and loading.
Ensure customer orders are picked, verified, wrapped, staged, and loaded accurately.
Assign daily work and labor based on shipping priorities.
Coordinate dock assignments and trailer movement.
Monitor workflow to ensure on-time shipment performance.
Verify all shipments meet customer and company requirements before departure.
