Solvere Technical Group is seeking a Lead Person or Assistant Supervisor to back up the Fore Person. The role requires extensive experience in mechanical, structural, electrical, or electronics trades and a strong background in applying quality assurance for shipboard equipment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and may have completed a four-year apprenticeship or military training. The position offers comprehensive benefits and a competitive salary range.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Either military training cert or accredited correspondence school covering mechanical/structural/electrical/electronics theory and shipboard systems.
• Successful completion of a four-year apprenticeship in a trade.

Responsabilités

• Back-up to the Fore Person; provide leadership as needed and coordinate trades.
• Demonstrate experience reading blueprints, technical manuals, and other docs; sequence work to avoid redundancy.
• Test, troubleshoot, and inspect installed equipment and systems.

Formation

High school diploma or equivalent

Four-year apprenticeship in mechanical/structural/electrical/electronics trade

One year of experience applying quality assurance procedures
