Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager in Dallas, TX to lead a fast-paced team and ensure exceptional guest service. You will coach staff, manage daily store operations, and uphold food safety and cleanliness standards.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in retail or food service with at least 1 year of supervisory experience and strong communication skills. Flexible scheduling supports work-life balance in a high-energy environment.

Qualifications

2–3 years of work experience in retail, restaurant, or food service preferred.
1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments.
Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same.
Strong communication and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

Set the tone with a cheerful, can-do attitude that motivates your team.
Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
Coach team members in real-time, offering guidance and support during every shift.
Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
Train and guide your team to meet guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
Oversee inventory, vendor check-in, and promotional communication; manage write-offs and cash wrap.
Lead shift-change communication and ensure team alignment throughout the day.
