Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a Shift Manager in Dallas, Texas to lead a fast‑paced team and ensure guest satisfaction on every shift. You will set the tone, coach staff, and manage food service, stocking, cleaning, and cash handling with a focus on safety and service standards.

You will drive operational excellence, lead shift change communications, and uphold RaceTrac’s policies while developing future leaders in a supportive, team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience in retail, restaurant, or food service preferred.
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Comfort in fast‑paced, high‑volume guest‑focused environments.
• Ability to coach others and follow through on tasks.

Responsibilities

• Set a cheerful, can‑do tone to motivate the team.
• Provide direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real time with guidance and support.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when needed.
• Train and guide the team to meet guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory, vendor check-in, and promotional communications.
• Lead shift change communication and ensure team alignment.
