Job summary

Orbia Fluor & Energy Materials in Louisiana is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead 12–14 Process Technicians and drive safe, efficient plant operations. The role includes commissioning and startup of a new asset at the St.

Gabriel site, overseeing safety compliance, production schedules, and continuous improvement. The position requires 7+ years in chemical manufacturing, an Associate degree (P-Tech preferred), and ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ work experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Must possess working knowledge of plant operations or similar industrial setting.
• Willing to work a 12-hour rotating shift, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of safe, efficient, and compliant plant operations with a 12-14 technician team.
• Lead commissioning and startup activities for a new green field unit at the St. Gabriel site.
• Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and ISO 9001 standards.
• Direct shift rounds, manage production schedules and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and prepare unit performance reports.
