Job summary

Braskem, Neal, WV, seeks a shift supervisor to lead a crew of operators in a chemical/plants environment. You will manage daily operations, coordinate technician scheduling, and drive safety and quality—ensuring documentation and compliance with procedures and environmental rules.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of work experience in a chemical or industrial plant setting.
• Must be available during off hours to address plant issues.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with good organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises a crew of operators during normal and turnaround operations.
• Plans and schedules technicians to ensure safe, efficient, and quality operations.
• Drives safety and quality excellence across shift operations.
• Ensures proper documentation, rounds, and loading/unloading checks are completed.
• Coordinates maintenance activities with the Production Maintenance Coordinator.
