Job summary

Mid-Willamette Valley Community Action Agency is seeking a Site Assistant to support ARCHES Project shelter operations in Polk and Marion counties. The role involves cleaning, laundry, clerical duties, data entry, client navigation to resources, and participant engagement.

Responsibilities include facilitating meals, maintaining safety, and assisting with daily operations and follow-up. This is a grant-funded, full-time position with opportunities for growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED completed.
• Two years of work experience in public or social service.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provides program support, such as cleaning, site upkeep, laundry and supportive services.
• Provides client engagement and assistance, including answering the telephone, monitoring client and facility safety.
• Works with support staff regarding follow-up to services, assisting with meal preparation and distribution.
• Facilitates access to guest laundry and computers.
• Assists with program operations including HMIS data entry and navigation to resources.
