Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. in Charlottesville, VA seeks a Sheet Metal Superintendent to lead field crews on commercial projects.

You will supervise foremen and crews, coordinate with engineering, estimating, and project teams, and ensure quality, safety, and on-time delivery while actively performing skilled sheet metal tasks. This role requires strong cost control, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination, with travel to multiple job sites as assigned.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial experience in the field as Superintendent on sheet metal or HVAC operations.
• Extensive knowledge of Sheet Metal / HVAC systems installation.
• Ability to supervise large crews (20+).
• Advanced understanding of construction cost control and scheduling.
• Proficient in MS Office and able to read drawings and specs.
• OSHA 30 and CPR trained.

Responsibilities

• Supervises sheet metal Foreman, field crew, subcontractor and craft activities.
• Coordinates work of different crafts and other departments.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate on-site functions.
• Perform material take-offs and ordering to maximize productivity.
• Ensure quality installation and on-time delivery.
• Maintain safety and manage cost control.
