Job summary

HMH is seeking an engineer to provide technical support and engineering solutions for internal and external customers, ensuring safe and efficient operations while driving continuous improvement and collaborating across functions to deliver customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

You will work on overhaul, repair, and after-market projects, reviewing inspection findings to plan maintenance and commissioning scopes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation, or Production with relevant technical courses).
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant technical level experience.
  • Knowledge of Riser inspection and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of Blowout Preventer (BOP) Topside equipment maintenance and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and engineering solutions for internal and external customers, ensuring safe and efficient operations while driving continuous improvement and collaborating across functions to deliver customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • Drive continuous improvement of technical processes, tools, and procedures.
  • Provide technical support for customer issues related to Overhaul & Repair, after-market equipment performance, rig stoppages, and service agreements.
  • Review inspection report findings to define maintenance, installation and commissioning (I&C), and recertification scopes, plans & requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and deploy technical solutions.
  • Lead and support project-related technical efforts, including root-cause analysis and resolution of issues.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and support to peers.
  • Work on other department activities as per workload demand.
  • Ensure adherence to procedures and standards.

Summary

  • Provide technical support for customer issues related to Overhaul & Repair, after-market equipment performance, rig stoppages, and service agreements

Deliverables
  • Technical (dispositioning) reports and repair plans
  • Technical Input to Quotation Certificates, statements of facts
  • Maintain ticket records in accordance with quality assurance procedures
  • Accurately record execution hours in the system
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation, or Production with relevant technical courses)
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant technical level experience
  • Knowledge of Riser inspection and maintenance
  • Knowledge of Blowout Preventer (BOP) Topside equipment maintenance and operations.
Additional Information

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. No relocation assistance. Location - Houston, Tx (JFK)
