Job summary

MSD is seeking an Associate Director of Software Engineering to lead ServiceNow QA across ITSM modules. The role centers on defining testing strategies, coordinating multi-phase validation, and driving automation efforts.

You will mentor junior testers, manage cross-functional teams, and partner with product owners to ensure smooth upgrades and data integrity. Hybrid work is available at Rahway, NJ and West Point, PA locations.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of testing leadership and management experience.
• Automated Test Framework experience is required.
• In-depth knowledge of ITIL processes and IT service management (ITSM) best practices.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the testing roadmap and QA standards across ServiceNow modules.
• Create detailed test plans and coordinate all testing phases (unit, SIT, regression, UAT).
• Validate configurations, customizations, and integrations before Prod upgrades.
• Develop and mature aQuality Engineering roadmap with AI-driven capabilities.
• Lead defect triage and collaborate with developers and product owners to resolve issues.
• Build, maintain, and scale automated test suites using AutomatePro ATF to accelerate releases.
• Perform data validation across CMDB and data migrations.
• Establish and track KPIs to provide data-driven release readiness.
• Support testers in executing test scripts and mentor junior testers.
