MANTECH in Herndon, VA seeks a Lead ServiceNow Developer to serve as the technical authority for our internal ITSM environment in a hybrid role.

The role emphasizes hands-on development and complex enterprise integrations using Integration Hub, REST/SOAP, MID Servers, and custom web services. You will guide mid- and senior developers, maintain baselines, and drive architecture aligned with enterprise standards.

• 6+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience with at least 2 years in a lead role.
• Proven experience designing complex enterprise integrations using Integration Hub, Webhooks, API endpoints, and OAuth.
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, JSON/XML, and relational databases.
• ServiceNow CAD certification.
• Experience coordinating a large team to drive technical agenda.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and resolve platform performance bottlenecks, integration failures, and legacy code issues.
• Collaborate with Product Manager and enterprise security teams to implement requirements per ServiceNow best practices.
• Architect, design, and build secure, scalable integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, Integration Hub, and custom web services.
• Lead complex script development using JavaScript, Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Flow Designer, and Service Portal components.
• Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and architectural oversight to mid- and junior-level developers.
• Maintain system baselines and configuration management items to align with enterprise architecture standards.
• Recommend and implement process and policy improvements across the ServiceNow platform.

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Lead ServiceNow Developer to serve as the technical authority for our internal enterprise ITSM environment in Herndon, VA. This is a hybrid position.

This role focuses on hands-on custom development and complex enterprise system integrations to ensure seamless interoperability across MANTECH’s internal IT ecosystem.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Diagnosing and resolving platform performance bottlenecks, integration failures, and legacy code issues.
• Collaborating with the Product Manager and enterprise infrastructure/security teams to execute technical requirements according to ServiceNow best practices.
• Architecting, designing, and building secure, scalable integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, Integration Hub, MID Servers, and custom web services.
• Leading complex script development using JavaScript, Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Flow Designer, and Service Portal components.
• Providing technical guidance, code reviews, and architectural oversight to mid- and junior-level developers on the team.
• Maintaining system baselines and configuration management items to align with enterprise architecture standards.
• Recommending, and when approved, implementing process and policy improvements across the ServiceNow platform.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 6+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience, with at least 2 years in a technical lead role.
• Proven experience designing and implementing complex enterprise integrations using Integration Hub, Webhooks, API endpoints, and OAuth.
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, JSON/XML, and relational database concepts.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
• Experience working across a large team to drive technical agenda and managing complex, intertwined systems and data flows.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in one or more ITSM modules.
• Experience with automated testing tools (ATF) and DevOps pipeline integrations.
• Experience creating, maintaining, and communicating complex information technology documentation.
• Self-starter with excellent people skills to work across teams and drive change throughout an organization.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
