Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated, customer-oriented ServiceNow Developer to join our team in Lexington Park, MD. This is a primarily remote position, with responsibilities to configure ServiceNow components and develop customized solutions within the platform.

The role focuses on designing, coding, testing, and maintaining ITSM/ITOM/CMDB solutions, guided by RMF and FedRAMP security requirements, and involves collaboration with remote teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience specializing in ServiceNow development.
  • Active ServiceNow CAD and/or CSA certifications desired.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs and ServiceNow Studio.
  • Experience across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience supporting RMF and federal software accreditation processes.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB and integrations.
  • Analyze requirements, user stories, and wireframes to deliver performant solutions.
  • Develop workflows, business rules, and UI policies with Flow Designer and Integration Hub.
  • Perform code reviews and enforce security best practices.
  • Troubleshoot platform issues and manage upgrades and deployments of new modules.
  • Create technical documentation and provide stakeholder training.
  • Ensure compliance with RMF, FedRAMP, and other security frameworks.

Job description

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented ServiceNow Developer to join our team in Lexington Park, MD. This is a primarily remote position.

The ServiceNow developer, will be responsible for configuring ServiceNow components and developing customized solutions within the ServiceNow platform.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
  • Design, develop, and deploy ServiceNow solutions across SPM, ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and various scoped applications integrations utilizing best-practice coding standards.
  • Analyze requirements, user stories, and wireframes to deliver performant technical solutions.
  • Develop workflows, business rules, UI policies, and sophisticated automation utilizing Flow Designer and Integration Hub.
  • Perform code reviews, define enterprise development standards, and enforce security best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues while maintaining system reliability and performance and execute ServiceNow platform upgrades, patching, and the deployment of new modules.
  • Create technical documentation and provide training and guidance to organizational stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with RMF, FedRAMP, and other mandatory federal security frameworks and support the software accreditation process
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience specializing in ServiceNow development.
  • Active ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) and/or Certified System Administrator (CSA) certifications.
  • Experience in JavaScript, Glide APIs, and ServiceNow Studio, with significant experience across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
  • Established track record navigating Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Proven ability supporting the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and federal software accreditation processes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist in IT Service Management (CIS-ITSM).
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist in Strategic Portfolio Management (CIS-SPM)
  • Motivated self-starter with exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to lead remote teams.
  • Prior experience supporting federal agencies or defense programs

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
