Taher, Inc. is a family-owned, chef-driven food service management company specializing in K-12 school lunch programs. We are seeking a Lead Foodservice Worker to oversee day-to-day operations in a school kitchen, ensuring food safety, quality, and timely service.

You will supervise and train staff, prepare menu items, manage equipment and supplies, and uphold a positive team environment. This on-site role offers guaranteed hours with a fixed early shift and opportunities for advancement within

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a related role preferred.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Able to follow spoken and written directions.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Successfully pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and assigns work to the team and oversees completion of tasks.
• Trains and guides staff on duties, food safety, sanitation, and customer service.
• Prepares and builds food items per recipes and directions.
• Sets up condiments and utensil areas for service.
• Breaks down, cleans and sanitizes work stations.
• Contributes to a positive work environment.
• Demonstrates integrity, dependability, and punctuality.
• Maintains professional appearance, attitude and guest service.
• Follows food safety requirements and guidelines.
• Assists in daily paperwork, ordering and related tasks.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by leadership.
