Job summary

Taher, Inc. in Union Grove, Wisconsin, is hiring a Lead Foodservice Worker to lead food prep, service, and cleanup in a school kitchen. This role focuses on chef-created, nutritious meals for students with a weekday schedule and guaranteed hours.

You'll train staff, enforce food safety, and support daily operations while delivering excellent guest service. Taher provides uniforms, PPE, and opportunities for advancement in a collaborative, family-owned setting.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Able to follow spoken and written directions.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Successfully pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and assigns work and oversees task completion.
• Trains staff on duties, food safety, sanitation, and customer service.
• Prepares and builds food items according to recipes.
• Sets up condiments and utensil areas.
• Breaks down, cleans and sanitizes work stations.
• Maintains professional appearance and guest service.
• Follows food safety requirements.
• Assists in daily paperwork, ordering and related tasks.
• Performs other tasks as directed by leadership.

• Schedules and assigns work assignments to the team and oversees completion of tasks
• Trains and guides staff on job duties, proper food safety, and sanitation procedures, customer service, etc.
• Prepares and builds food items according to standardized recipes and directions
• Setting the team up for success by preparing the condiments and utensil areas
• Breaks down, cleans and sanitizes work stations
• Contributing to a positive work environment
• Demonstrating integrity, dependability, and punctuality
• Maintaining a professional appearance, positive attitude, and excellent guest service
• Following food safety requirements/guidelines
• Assists in daily paperwork, ordering and other related tasks
